12 of us Moderne Jazzers – Christ, Cor21, Frida, Gsulf, Hams, Ishem 8, Matti, Noteen, Obisk, Yor81, コンタン – had a vernissage of our third exhibition together last Saturday (Nov 11) at Module in Paris. We all made a children’s toy and some sketches,コンタン made the poster above and Christ wrote the text about the exhibition. Diary

Marseille, I squint my eyes only by thinking about it.

Autumn has arrived in Paris already, and I dream of hot pre-summer spent in Marseille. It was in April this year or was it May when spontaneously Moderne Jazz family joined in Marseille. It was sunny and hot and all good feelings everywhere for a week.

PAINT ON WALL / AFTER FANZINE FESTIVAL

It seems like it became a sort of a tradition to paint on wall after annual Fanzine Festival in Paris. Usually many friends out of Paris come to visit and have a stand at the festival, but only Frida made it this year and helped out at Éditions Peinture‘s stand. And the day after the festival, guess what, we went to a wall.

To continue with our game, this time Soir sent us a sketch. Some played the game, some didn’t, but nevertheless it was a nice day with some out-of-town friends who were visiting Paris.

What I Make

With the guys in Moderne Jazz, we began a game – one makes a sketch, and the rest of the crew paint using the sketch : )

Torpen visited Paris one day, and he left us a sketch before he left. So we went off with the sketch and painted it. I lost his original sketch, but maybe you can imagine it by looking at what we did with it.
