A FLAG FOR EVERY HOME / WORK IN PROGRESS - angdoo.com/blog

A family commissioned me to make a flag for their home. They recently moved to their dream house, and their second baby has arrived. So they wanted a flag to hang proudly at their house to represent the family. They been patiently waiting for a few months (thank you!) for me to finish up other projects, and now I’m fully occupied making their flag. I’ve also decided to make two more flags while I’m in the process to expend the A FLAG FOR EVERY HOME series.

Here are some photos of the making process.

TOTE BAGS / WIP - ANGDOO.COM/BLOG

Mattie and I are busy making tote bags for our Amateurs. We briefly spoke about this project during out interview with Sight Unseen.

So we are on it and having fun cutting, ironing and basically making a mess out of our house. Mattie and I decided to hold off and not reveal any of the bags until the project is completely finished. Suspense? ; ) But here you can see some of the mess. Now, imagine this ALL over the house.

Sight Unseen interviewed Mattie and I about our website Amateurs! I’m very thrilled (and proud) to be featured on Sight Unseen and about their interest on Amateurs : )

Here’s the link to the whole interview: www.sightunseen.com/2014/12/mathieu-julian-and-jin-angdoo-of-amateurs

And if you just asked yourself, ‘What is Amateurs?’ It is a website Mattie and I made together to showcase our personal artworks. Here are some previous posts about Amateurs on my blog: work-in-progress and the launch of the site.

Hope you enjoy the interview! Happy Jin : )
